How to Make a Walking Paper Bug

This is a super easy yet fun and entertaining project for kids of all ages.
Remember, it's always a good idea to practice at home first!

Suggested Materials:

* 1 x square of tissue wrapping paper approx. 20cm x 20cm (or similar light-weight paper eg. kitchen paper towel)
* 1 x lemon (or similar eg. small orange, hard boiled egg)
* Felt-tip markers

Suggested Instructions:

Step 1: Take your square of paper and twist each of the four corners around to make 4 legs for your bug.

Step 2: The middle of your paper will rise into a dome shape as you twist the legs. Place the dome of your paper over
your lemon.

Step 3: Draw a face on your paper bug with your felt-tip markers. It can be a crazy face, a scary face or a happy face. Whatever you like!

Step 4: Now practice rolling your bug across a large smooth surface such as a tabletop. Just give it a gentle push and watch how it moves!

Step 5: Take your walking paper bug to school and show
your class!
