How to Make a Balloon Ghost

This super easy and fun project uses materials you may already have around your home.

Suggested Materials:

* White balloon/s
* Sheets of white tissue wrapping paper
* Black felt-tip marker
* Rubber bands

Suggested Instructions:

Step 1: Blow up a white balloon and tie a firm knot in it. Turn your balloon upside down so that the knot is at the top.

Step 2: Drape 2 pieces of white tissue paper over your balloon.

Step 3: Secure your tissue paper to your balloon by attaching a rubber band around the balloon’s knot.

Step 4: Turn your balloon upright and let the tissue paper
hang down.

Step 5: Draw a scary or friendly face on your Balloon Ghost with your black felt-tip marker. Try adding eyes, eyeballs, eyebrows, nose, mouth, lips, teeth or even rosy black cheeks to give your Balloon Ghost extra character! It’s up to you!

Step 6: Your Balloon Ghost can be made either before school or at school (with an adult’s help). If you pre-prepare your Balloon Ghost, it is a good idea to use thick, quality rubber balloons and make more than one in case your Balloon Ghost bursts on the way to school!
