Coin Trick

This fun magic trick will amaze classmates. It uses simple materials you may already have around your home.
Remember, it's always a good idea to practice at home first!

Suggested Materials:

* 2 x coins of the same size (you might like to experiment with different coins to see which size and weight works best for you)

Suggested Instructions:

Coin

Step 1: At home, hold your hands in front of you, side-by-side and almost touching. Your palms should be facing up and your thumbs should be gently closed against the side of your hands.

Coin

Step 2: Place one coin in the middle of the palm of your right hand. Place the other coin at the top of the palm of your left hand, immediately under your index finger.

Coin

Step 3: While still holding your hands in the same position as in Step 1, quickly and firmly flip your hands over on to a flat surface such as a table.

Coin

Step 4: You will find that the coin in your left hand magically moves across under your right hand during the flipping process. (If this doesn't happen straight away, a small amount of practice will fix the trick!).

Coin

Step 5: Ask your "audience" where they think the coins are.

Coin

Step 6: Amaze your friends by first lifting your left hand and then your right hand to reveal that both coins are now under your right hand!

Coin

Step 7: You may like to practice this trick a few times at home before trying it at school.

Coin

Step 8: At school, repeat Step 1 to Step 6.
