Cool Banana Trick

This fun magic trick will amaze classmates. It uses simple materials you may already have around your home.
Remember, it's always a good idea to practice at home first!

Suggested Materials:

* 1 x banana
* 1 x large paper clip

Suggested Instructions:

Step 1: At home, take your paper clip and straighten it.

Step 2: Gently push your straightened paper clip through the skin of one side of your banana. Carefully move it from side-to-side horizontally inside your banana so that it is slicing the flesh of your banana. Gently withdraw your paperclip.

Step 3: Now move down the banana about 2 or 3cm. Choose a different side of the banana and gently push your paperclip through the skin. Again move it from side-to-side horizontally to create slices. Gently withdraw your paperclip.

Step 4: Repeat every 2 or 3cm until you have reached the end of your banana. Be sure to choose a different side of your banana each time you push your paperclip in so that any brown marks look more like natural bruising.

Step 5: Now peel your banana and make sure your slicing has worked correctly.

Step 6: Practice this trick a few times at home, if necessary. On the morning of your "Show and Tell", pre-prepare a banana to take to school.

Step 7: At school, hold up your banana and ask your classmates if they think you can slice the banana on the inside without peeling the skin off first. Pretend to concentrate on the banana for a few seconds as if you are slicing it with your thoughts.

Step 8: Now peel the banana. The whole class will be amazed at what they see inside!
