Balloon that Won’t Go Pop |
This science "trick" is fun and entertaining and uses materials you may already have around your home. |
Suggested Materials: |
* 1 x balloon |
Suggested Instructions: |
Step 1: At home, blow up your balloon until it is a relatively small size. Your balloon should be comfortably shorter than the length of your skewer. |

Step 2: Carefully poke the sharp end of your skewer through the tip of your balloon at the spot where the rubber forms a |
|
Step 3: Gently push the skewer all the way through the balloon so that it comes out the other end where the rubber forms a dark circle around the knot in the balloon. |

Step 4: Show your "audience" the balloon that didn't go pop! |

Step 5: You may like to practice this trick a few times at home before trying it at school. |
|
Step 6: At school, repeat Step 1 to Step 4. Ask your teacher for help if needed. |
