What Animal Am I?

Clue 1: I am an egg-laying animal but I am not a bird or a reptile.

Clue 2: I have long sharp claws and I can burrow into the ground very quickly.

Clue 3: I have a pouch where I raise my young. My babies are called puggles.

Clue 4: When I feel afraid I curl up into a tight prickly ball to protect myself.

Clue 5: I am a shy animal, but I have very sharp spines on my body that make me look fierce.

Clue 6: I am an animal which has a long snout and a long sticky tongue to catch ants and termites.
